Hydro Operation Great Lakes is a subsidiary of Hydro Operation International, a Swiss company active in the development, engineering, operation and maintenance of hydroelectric power plants in Africa. We have just opened our office in Kigali, from which we offer our services in Rwanda and the Great Lakes region.


To support our growth, we are currently looking for a management assistant to strengthen our team in Kigali. This position will report directly to the Managing Director. Depending on your needs, profile and experience this job can be performed on a part time basis.

Key tasks and responsibilities:
·         Support the Managing Director and other team members in administrative tasks
·         Plan meetings and take minutes of meeting
·         Draft letters and other documents
·         Proofread documents
·         Purchasing stationary
·         Office management
·         Manage and organize the schedule of the Managing Director and other team members
·         Travel management for visiting international experts
·         Petty cash management
·         Any other tasks delegated to you that are within your capacities

Required attitudes:
·         Excellent organizational skills
·         Attention to detail
·         Ability to work under pressure
·         Willingness to work in a startup company where flexibility is required
·         Excellent team player

Profile:
·         A1 level diploma or equivalent through experience
·         At least 10 years of experience after graduation
·         At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
·         Excellent oral and written command of Kinyarwanda, French and English
·         Computer literate (Word and Excel)
·         Knowledge of relevant laws in Rwanda is an asset
·         A driving license is an asset
·         Experience working for an international company or organization is an asset
·         Knowledge of accounting is an asset
