Save the Children works in seven regions in Rwanda with a current staff complement of approximately 50 staff. SCI Rwanda Country Office seeks to hire qualified, committed and experienced nationals to fill the following positions;



Based in Burera,The Finance Officer will provide accurate financial information by preparing, recording and reconciling financial transactions data, check and control financial process in line with Financial policy and procedure and support on compliance of grant rules and regulation

·         Support the budget holders in Budgeting, Budget monitoring and Budget control
·         Maintenance of financial records and monitoring systems; records and reconciles expenditures, balances, payments and other day-to-day transactions
·         Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis.
·         Managing petty cash in daily basis and conduct petty cash count in weekly basis
·         Ensure cash controls and other internal controls are in place
·         Review and reconciliation of all control accounts for Burera filed office
·         Ensure staff , partners, volunteers comply with SCI policies and procedures
·         Ensure all business floats are timely settled and posted into GLACOS/AGRESSO
·         Check and verify any returns and reports from partners for accuracy and completeness. Post these into the system
·         Timely Register all  approved  transactions into GLACOS/AGRESSO
·         Facilitate external audits by providing all required information to the auditors
·         Follow up on the implementation of  Grants  and assist as required
·         Support in Capacity building for staff in Financial management

·               Bachelor degree in accountancy/finance/management or Equivalent.
·         2-3 years’ work experience, preferably in an NGO set up
·         Base in Burera or surrounded area will be an advantage
