IWPR, an international NGO with over 20 years’ experience worldwide, is recruiting for one role in Rwanda a Journalism trainer.

About IWPR
IWPR, Rwanda is a country office of the parent company, the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, headquartered in the UK and the US. In Rwanda, IWPR provides a wide range of services from policy consultation to training in media and direct technical assistance for entities and institutions responsible for implementing the media reforms. IWPR Rwanda was responsible for the launch and management of a business incubator the Rwanda Creative Hub.

-     Rwanda Nationals
-     BA in Journalism and/or Communications from a reputable Journalism-training institution, or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.
-     Significant experience working in a reputable media house.
-     Native speaker of Kinyarwanda and fluent in spoken and written English.
-     Experience in facilitation and training using hands-on participatory approaches.
-     Willingness and ability to travel is essential.
