BBOXX Capital Rwanda wishes to recruit qualified and self-motivated staff to work in the following position of - Retail Supervisor

BBOXX is an international company based in London leading the solar revolution across the developing world.  Currently operating in 14 different countries BBOXX has already electrified 325,000 people.  We are aiming to make that number 20 million by the year 2020.  Unlike other off-grid solar providers, BBOXX controls the whole process from design to manufacture to distribution and financing.

 1.       JOB DESCRIPTION - Retail Supervisor

a)      Reports to: Retail Area Managers
b)      Location: Distribution centre and field

Purpose: As a Retail Supervisor you will be driving the key metrics of a shop: Sales, Installation and Repossession. You will have the opportunity to build and manage a network of agents, technicians and one shop manager. This an opportunity given for very strong performers to build up the skills of a manager and later on move up in the organization.

  • Responsible for new customer acquisition across a defined area
  •             Hiring agents who are very effective sellers and good representative of BBOXX
  •             Training agents to offer an incomparable customer service
  •             Managing the schedule of agents and motivating them to reach new heights
  •             Supporting and coaching agents in the field when needed (e.g. group presentation)
  •             Monitoring their performance against objectives and take necessary actions
  •             Organizing the agent network geographically
  •             Responsible for technicians performance
  •             Managing the schedule of technicians and motivating them to reach new heights
  •             Monitoring their performance against objectives and take necessary actions
  •             Responsible to implement marketing strategy in coordination with Retail Area Manager
  •             Request for any marketing activities
  •             Responsible for the operations at the shop
  • Supervise the shop manager in its activities
  • Report to the retail area manager about the shop results

3. Compensation:

h)      Person Specification

  •     Have a university diploma and 2 years working experience
  •     Have prior experience in sales management, we are not looking for the “striker” of a football team but  for the head coach
  •     Be willing to live in rural areas, the role is set in rural areas, you will be located at a shop which are in secondary towns
  •     Be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
  •     It is a plus to: Have a driving license (motorbike or car)
